Trigger plate.
Made of high-strength fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer, the trigger plate offers a long list of advantages: self-lubricating, reducing maintenance; vibration absorption and maintaining precise coupling with the receiver over time; lightweight; improved feel in cold climates thanks to thermal stability and excellent color retention of a part traditionally subject to rubbing.

Weight.
A lightweight receiver, barrel, and forearm don't simply mean a lighter rifle (about 3 kg in the hunting version): they also mean optimal balance, easy handling across the board, a feeling of great control, and... pleasing results.
Fore-end cap.
In addition to a significant aesthetic improvement, the speed and ease of tightening and loosening the cap have been significantly improved thanks to the delayed spring action. When firing, the elastic elements inserted into the cap (steel spring and technopolymer ring) help absorb barrel vibrations. The result: less shooter fatigue, greater stability of the gun during rapid fire, and even greater reliability and durability of the rifle. Magnetic retaining elements hold the sling attachment ring in place on the shield cap.
Cold-hammer forged.
In keeping with Beretta's manufacturing tradition, the barrel of the AL391 Urika is made using the exclusive cold-hammer forged process, using the finest nickel-chromium-molybdenum steels, specifically engineered for the company. Beretta's superior technology and construction ensures perfect concentricity of the tube and uniform wall thickness along the circumference, resulting in lighter yet extraordinarily durable barrels. The internal chrome plating of the barrels ensures better patterns and excellent resistance to corrosion and the stress generated by the use of steel shot. The receiver is molded from a zirconium aluminum alloy, as strong as steel but 65% lighter. Anodic oxidation provides protection from corrosion and abrasion.
Decelerator.
Another new feature of the AL391 Urika is the decelerator of the moving masses, which cushions the impact of the slide on the bottom of the receiver and simultaneously reduces the vibrations transmitted to the shooter.
This feature also ensures excellent reliability and durability.

Compensating valve.
The innovative design of the compensating valve pushes the shotgun's performance to new limits: with any type of cartridge, from the weakest 24g to the lightest 12oz. to the heaviest 57g (with barrels of at least 71cm, operation is guaranteed even with subsonic cartridges). Thanks to the exclusive
Beretta self-compensating gas system, which vents gases not required for the gun's operation, the fatigue to which the various components are subjected when using heavy loads is significantly reduced, extending the life of the gun. Furthermore, mounted directly on the barrel, the compensator valve device and its spring remain attached to the gas cylinder, thus ensuring easier assembly of the gun. It also requires less frequent maintenance. The compact dimensions have allowed for a particularly slim and elegant forend.

Handguard.
While boasting an enlarged trigger guard eye to allow better accessibility to the trigger even when wearing gloves, the trigger guard elegantly connects to the receiver via a sturdy rounded cord at the front and with sharp bevels on the sides, which facilitate the descent of the index finger towards the trigger.
Stock.
The stock design is also innovative, aesthetically refined yet effective in terms of performance.
The elongated, differently radiused pistol grip and ergonomic comb allow for a variety of hand shapes to achieve the best grip and the correct positioning of the index finger on the trigger. The grippy checkering ensures maximum grip. Shouldering, aiming speed, swing, and control of the rifle are optimized.
The AL391 Urika features an ingenious and easy system for varying the stock's drop and cast using interchangeable shims and plates.
The semi-matte finish of the wood highlights the walnut grain.
